Hello, I have been following your
blog & I find it very useful. I appreciate your efforts. Now coming to my
question: Is there a way to defualt Advance lookup when the prompt button is
clicked ? Normal behaviour is to display the page with basic lookup. Thank
you, Siva

Thanks for posting your question!

You can set the advanced look up   property in the component level.

Open the component and click on its   properties you will have 3 tabs in it.

Select the Internet tab and you can   see the Default search/lookup type – Basic and advanced radio button.

Select the Advanced radio button   and save the component.

Now your component search   will always default to advanced and also the look-up for the data entry   fields will also have the same behavior.

Thanks

Really liked the blog ...the way the questions are answered is excellent. Good Job..! Iam kind of new to Integration Broker. We have an IB setup to sync chart field tables in Finance and HR . this is how our buisiness process is set..any deletions on these chartfield tables on finance side are not carried thru IB on the HR end but are manually deleted.(updates and additions are thru IB thou) but if user by mistake deletes any rows on Finance and tries to add it again ..it chokes up all the messages on the HR end ...we have warned users not to do so ..but we still come across this situation every now and then .... My question is... is there any better way to handle this....any other work around to identify these kind of buisiness process errors? eagerly waiting on reply/suggestions.. thanks Kumar.

Hi , I have a general query regarding peoplesoft messaging architecture. Question) In case we have defined 2 message channels A and B , and we know few messages uses Channel A and other uses Channel B . Now If A gets blocked because of some issue {one message remains in timeout status and other messages remain in queue behind it } will it impact the message delivery through other Channel B. Thanks Yogesh
