I am trying to run sftp script to transfer a file between servers.
The command I am using for sftp is

/usr/local/bin/sftp -B parfile

I have sftp script in batchdir and file to be transferred is in rptdir.
sftp in turn calls ssh2. I am having issue authenticating id when
ssh2 is called.
Any help will be appreciated.

You can use the Public-key authentication method. In public-key authentication The process of verifying that an individual truly is who he or she claims to be. Supplying a password is a very common method of authentication. The most secure method of authentication supported in VShell is public-key authentication. See also: identity file, public-private key pair, public-private key pairs are used to identify a user
to an SSH2 server A computer program that provides services to other computer programs (called clients). Often the computer on which a server program runs is also called a server. The term host is often used as a synonym for server.. A user creates both a public and private key, and
then transfers a copy of the public key to an SSH2 server to which
the user wants secure access. The private key is kept on the user’s
local machine and is used to verify the identity of the user when
the user attempts to connect to the SSH2 server. The public and
private keys must be correct for the server to allow the connection A data path or circuit between two computers over a phone line, network cable, or other means..

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to get the process scheduler to
restart / reprocess all of the ‘no success’ app engine programs.

Has anyone ever had to run a batch job to restart app engines
that were once ‘no success’?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for posting your question!

We would not recommend creating a batch job to restart AE
processes. Generally failure of AE programs requires intervention
from
Functional and Technical support team.

However, you can use the following SQL’s to update the status
to restart.

UPDATE PSPRCSRQST

SET RUNSTATUS = 5,

PRCSRTNCD = 0,

CONTINUEJOB = 0,

LASTUPDDTTM = SYSDATE,

SERVERNAMERUN = ‘PSUNX’, — REPLACE APPROPRIATELY

DISTSTATUS = ‘1’,

RETRYCOUNT = 0

WHERE PRCSINSTANCE = ‘1573997’ — REPLACE APPROPRIATELY

/

UPDATE PSPRCSQUE

SET RUNSTATUS = 5,

PRCSRTNCD = 0,

CONTINUEJOB = 0,

LASTUPDDTTM = SYSDATE,

SERVERNAMERUN = ‘PSUNX’, — REPLACE APPROPRIATELY

DISTSTATUS = ‘1’,

RETRYCOUNT = 0

WHERE PRCSINSTANCE = ‘1573997’ — REPLACE APPROPRIATELY

/

Thanks
