Hi,

I am currently working on retrofitting for patch implementation on 8.47 tools version for a client on PS HRMS 8.9.
We have implemented 16 patches on 8.47. Now while testing the instance after implementing all the patches, I am stuck with an error on ‘Add a Person’ page. After keying in all the required information for the employee when I click on the ‘Add relationship’ button on Organizational relationship page, then an error message is displayed for the Message ‘DSPERSON_BASIC_SYNC’. 
For the message ‘DSPERSON_BASIC_SYNC’, in the properties dialogue box, under the tab ‘Use’, there is a box for ‘Validate Structure’. Here there is a check box for ‘Schema’. This check box is somehow checked in the instance where we have applied patches and are doing testing. In other instances this check box is unchecked. Please suggest how can I uncheck this check box as it’s appearing greyed (display only) for me.

Navigation :
Application Designer –> Open definition –> Message –> DSPERSON_BASIC_SYNC(Message Name) –> Properties –> Use –> Validate Structure –> Schema

Use the following UPDATE statement.

UPDATE PSMSGVER SET IB_MSGSCHEMA=0 WHERE APMSGVER = ‘VERSION_3′ AND MSGNAME =’DSPERSON_BASIC_SYNC’;

Replace VERSION_3 with your appropriate version.
